UI Pattern [Idea]: Scrolling Filter for Mobile
I haven’t had a chance to try this out, yet, but I think this is a pretty solid solution for filtering content without having to open a menu in a popup. The most frequently accessed options are visible by default and within easy scrolling distance. Less frequently used options would be further to the left or right.
