[Updated] jQuery Plugin for Changing Measurement Units and Converting Values

This is the first major upgrade to the HD Unit Switcher jQuery plugin I’ve been developing for managing the changing of distance units such as meters and miles and temperature units such as Fahrenheit and Celsius. The plugin automatically adds a drop down, converts the value to the new type, and changes like measurements across the page (if there are any).

Now at version 0.1.3, the HD Unit Switcher includes:

  • New support for meters
  • Proper jQuery plugin structure
  • Downloadable zip
  • updateAll option
  • Support for default measurements
  • Better error capturing

Still to come is a bit of optimization, support for more units (feet, Kelvin, etc), and more style.
